Do I need a proper camera for this to work?
No... that's the point. iPhone Bundle is built to grade and finish footage from the phone you already have, not replace it with a camera setup.
Do I need to convert my footage first?
Yes, only if you are filming in Apple Log. Every LUT in the bundle is built for Rec.709. Apply the free Aprture Conversion LUT Pack first to convert Apple Log footage, then apply any grade on top.
